The FPIP’s Corporate Planning Officer is responsible for providing leadership support to ensure strategy, tactical planning, and execution are in alignment and are performed using a systematic and integrated approach to enable the company to make better decisions.

The Corporate Planning Officer will be accountable for developing and implementing strategic plans, covering short to long-term time frames, and working with all levels of management to provide sound analysis and strategic recommendations on optimizing business plans, policies, and procedures.

Reporting directly to the Corporate Planning Head, the position is responsible for helping facilitate the process of assisting in drafting/preparing management reports, gathering information, interpreting data, and converting them into information that supports the Management in making informed business decisions to ensure the development and growth of the Company's business lines and brands

The position will also cover related and similar support and coordination related to the Sustainability and Risk Management activities of the Corporate Planning Group.

What you'll be doing:

Research, Analysis, and Reporting
  • The Corporate Planning Officer is primarily responsible for supporting research, documentation, administrative work, and fulfillment of strategic planning documentation and reportorial requirements.
  • Conducts research assigned by the Corporate Planning Head as inputs to and related to various studies, reports, macroeconomic and social, related industry and competitors, sustainability, and risk management.
  • Conducts research and drafts strategic planning reports
  • Assists in the preparation and submission of the Company’s Board Meeting presentations.
  • Assists in the conduct/implementation of the Strategic Planning Process and preparation of Strategic Planning Kits

Corporate Planning Governance
  • Governance of the Corporate Planning process including the development, implementation, communication, and management of standards and practices; development & tracking of Key Performance Indicators
  • Files, organizes, and maintains records related to Corporate Planning. Ensures that these are well-kept, organized, and secured at all times
  • Makes recommendations for improvements of systems, processes, and procedures within his/ her scope of authority
  • Collaborates and coordinates with other groups within the organization in support of the defined role

Special Projects
  • Engage in and/or provide support for special projects and tasks as may be assigned from time to time

What we're looking for:
  • Education: Graduate of Business Management, Finance, Economics, or related fields. A Master's Degree in a similar field is an advantage
  • Experience: With at least two (2) years work experience in Corporate Planning or related fields and industry
  • Technical and Other Skills Required:
    Proficient in MS Office and Google Suite
    Strategic Planning Slides Preparation with PESTLE Analysis, SWOT Analysis Risk Analysis, and Mapping
    Research and Documentation especially Market Data and Industry Data
