Shift Engineer

First Philippine Industrial Park is looking for a Shift Engineer who will be responsible for maintaining up-time in all running/operational deep wells, pump stations, and wastewater treatment facilities. You will ensure 10% (maximum) downtime for all electro-mechanical equipment installed/operating the deep wells, pump stations, and wastewater treatment facilities. You will conduct meter readings at least 2 times per month for preparation and submission of the locator’s water consumption to FD. You will ensure efficient and effective operation and maintenance of water distribution systems and wastewater facilities based on existing company policies, targets, and objectives. You will promote compliance with all business, statutory, and environmental laws, rules, and regulations as applicable. You will assist in the evaluation/review of electro-mechanical plans and layouts for new projects.

What you'll be doing: 

Wastewater Treatment /  Pollution Control & Monitoring
  • Installs, repairs, troubleshoot, and maintains electro-mechanical systems (lift stations, generators, submersible pumps, etc.) and all other critical equipment
  • Maintains at least 80% “up-time” in all running / operational electro-mechanical equipment (aerators, pumps, etc.)
  • Ensures 10% (maximum) downtime for all electro-mechanical equipment installed / operating the wastewater treatment facilities  
  • Recommends and performs Preventive Maintenance Program based on the prescribed schedules
  • Do proper housekeeping activities in and out of the FUI’s facilities
  • Monitors implementation of approved sewer line lay-outs and conducts spot / random inspection based on the provisions of FPIP’s Deed of Restrictions

Water Supply / Distribution System
  • Installs, repairs, troubleshoots, and maintains electro-mechanical systems (pump stations, deep wells, generators, submersible pumps, etc.) and all other critical equipment
  • Maintains at least 80% “up-time” in all running / operational electro-mechanical equipment (, pumps, etc.)
  • Ensures 10% (maximum) downtime for all electro-mechanical equipment installed/operating the deep wells and pump stations 
  • Recommends and performs Preventive Maintenance Program based on the prescribed schedules
  • Do proper housekeeping activities in and out of the FUI’s facilities
  • Monitors implementation of approved water line layouts and conducts spot / random inspection based on the provisions of FPIP’s Deed of Restrictions
  • Conducts meter readings at least two (2) times per month for preparation and submission of Locator’s water consumption to FD

What we're looking for:
  • Education: Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
  • Licensure and/or Certification Required: Licensed Engineer is a plus, Driver’s license
  • Experience:  At least 1 year experience in a related field
